I’ve been looking for some database software for my card collection and my non-fiction books. After trying a couple of demos I decided on the one for books here.
It allows you to enter an image for both the front and back cover, and I found that instead of using a back cover, I could scan in samples of my card decks. For instance, playing cards would show a sample of the pips, face cards, joker, and back of card for an easy visual reference.
It has a statistics page for toting up the number of decks by category and the purchase price (an alarming statistic I have found.) You can also export the database into Excel.
